GAMES OPINION : 10 Memorable games for me ( PART 2 )

Hey , this is Gagas . In case you didn't read PART 1 , i suggest you to read it first . So , here's my top 5 list .

5. Disgaea 2 : Cursed Memories

Console : PS2

Genre : Strategy

Unique . Original . Yeah , all of Nippon Ichi games are connected . From Disgaea , Makai Kingdom , Phantom Brave , they're all connected . The graphic is so-so but the skill animation is really nice . Disgaea 2 is my favorite because of the appearance of Etna as one of the main character . Disgaea 2 has better features than the previous Disgaea , and it's the best strategy game ever !

4. Yu-Gi-Oh ! and The Duelist of Roses

Console : PS2

Genre : Strategy

My favorite TCG of all time . I play YGO! in real life too , until now . I like the deck leader feature , i used Summoned Skull as my deck leader . My deck strategy was too summon strong monster and support them with Yami . I love the music too . It's my first PS2 game !

3. Digimon World 2

Console : PSX

Genre : RPG

This game is the bomb . The battle theme music is good and classics . The story is about a cadet tamer who finally pass the test and become a guard tamer . I joined Black Sword Guard Team and I used Venom Myotismon , Piedmon , and Diaboromon as my team . It's a good game , especially the feature of catching our own Digimon .

2. Seal Online

Console : PC

Genre : MMORPG

My first online game ! I remember the first time I played this game , I used a warrior , trained myself to level 10 without taking adel quest . I killed some mobs and got killed by them because i didn't have pets at my disposal . You must try this one out , I recommend this game for you all MMORPG lovers ! Although , at that time , RF Online is more popular in Indonesia than Seal Online .








and the most memorable console video game for me is ...

1. Shin Megami Tensei : Persona 3 FES

Console : PS2

Genre : RPG

For me , this game is the best game that ever been created . The storyline , the creepy sensation , the personas , the characters , it's all perfect . It's BETTER than Persona 4 . It's more difficult too , and this game is so challenging . They released Persona 3 Portable for PSP and I bet it's good just like the original version . I recommend this game to every RPG lovers in this world . You'll love this just like me .

GAMES OPINION : 10 Memorable games for me ( PART I )

Hey guys this is Gagas , in this moment I will tell you about my favorite and unforgettable games . These games come from different console . I will review it and explain it to you completely , so , here is the list :



10. Suikoden II

Console : PSX

Genre : RPG

This game is very classic . The graphic is still look like pixels , but the gameplay is awesome . The Runes make this game become more unique . The main characters are 108 stars . The storyline is about war . This game is much better than newer Suikoden series .




9. Final Fantasy IX

Console : PSX

Genre : RPG

The graphic was good for a new 3D game at that time . The storyline is good , and the summons are interesting . The thing that makes this game good is the system that allow you to learn abilities by equipping weapon for certain amount of time . Even I didn’t reach the 4th disc but I will never forget this game . ( Oldschool = Goblin , Flan , Bomb )

8. Marvel VS Capcom

Console : PSX

Genre : Fighting

What makes this game reach my top 10 list ? Yes , exactly , the characters . I like to use Venom because I think he is very strong . Gambit is also good too ( Royal Flush !! ) . The final boss named Onslaught . You must beat him twice to end the game . In this game , combo-ing is so easy . Especially if you use Spiderman or Wolverine . Maximum Spider is good for fast kill . Music is good , graphics is , you know , arcade style .


7 . Yoshi’s Island

Console : Gameboy Advance

Genre : Adventure

This game is my favorite childhood game . The scenery of each levels are unique . The idea of swallowing Kappas and shooting them with eggs are brilliant . The music is good . Yoshi’s color change in every level . The story tells about Baby Luigi that got kidnapped by Kappa . Baby Mario and Yoshi are heading to the castle and rescue them . Each level has their own obstacles so this game becomes not monotone .

6 . Pokémon Emerald

Console : Gameboy Advance

Genre : RPG

You know the story , right ? Young trainer that wants to become a Champion while dealing with Evil Team . This game is the improvement from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire version . The mascot of this game is Rayquaza . The music is great . The graphic is same as Ruby and Sapphire . Oh, the most important thing is my favorite Pokémon is on in this game , it’s Absol .

GAMES OPINION : Digimon World Console

Hey guys this is Gagas , today i will share my opinion about Digimon Games from PSX and PS2 ( excluding Rumble Arena ) . Here are my opinions about the classics .

a. Digimon World

This game's storyline is unique . The story is about a child who sucked by a Digivice and transported to Digital World . He was told to save the Digi Land and the city . Then , he get his partner Digimon either Agumon or Gabumon . The gameplay focused on the way we raise the Digimon and see them grow and Digivolve .

Honestly , I think this game is not good , and not bad . Because , we can easily get bored , especially if we treat our Digimon badly , it will turn into Sukamon , or Numemon .

Gameplay : 9 / 10
Storyline : 7 / 10
Graphic : 8 / 10 ( one of the best at that time )














b. Digimon World 2

The story is about guard tamer named Akira , who finished his training as a cadet and joined the Guard Team in order to protect the town from wild Digimon . The battle uses the turn-based system . Same as the previous series , we battle our Digimon and make them grow and Digivolve . This game also allows the player to DNA - Digivolve , combining one Digimon to another .

This game is my favorite . Because we can catch our own Digimon from various selections . We can catch the exclusive anime Digimon from Digimon World 2 anime , Chimeramon !

Gameplay : 9 / 10
Storyline : 8 / 10
Graphic : 7 / 10 ( too .. blocky )














c. Digimon World 3

This game is about Digimon online . Because of someone's plan , all of the players get stuck in the server and can't log out . This game allows the player to choose 3 pack of partner . The Digivolution system is better than previous series but in my opinion , the battle graphic is worse than DMW or DMW2 .
 
The gameplay is good , especially the feature that allows the player to play card battle . The training system with Leomon and Togemon is good too .

Storyline : 9 / 10
Graphic : 5 / 10 ( Look at Greymon 's teeth )

d. Digimon Digital Card Battle

This game is the one of the popular card game on PSX . The battle graphic is overwhelming . The gameplay about how to collect cards is amazing . There are many cards to choose from so you can make your own deck and strategy . The partner card feature is a good innovation . But , the most shocking thing is the appearance of Apokarimon  , BKWargreymon and BKMetalgarurumon .

I used to run Dark deck , with Sharmamon , BKGatomon and Demidevimon . The support power is enough to beat Fire deck which relies on power .





Gameplay : 10 / 10
Storyline : 7 / 10
Graphic : 9 / 10 ( THUMBS UP ! )













e. Digimon World 4

The worst Digimon game for me . I don't like seeing Agumon with axes , or guns . This weapon-thing makes this game become bad , The only thing I like from this game is Dorumon . The 4-player mode is exciting especially for family game .


I don't like the voice too , i mean the voice of the Digimon . It's very .. squeaky . But , the graphic is amazing , the gameplay is good .

f. Digimon Data Squad

I don't like this game either , becaise i feel bored when i play this game . The digivolution route system is a big step to success , but the wild Digimon encounter rate is too high . We can easily find wild Digimon so it's boring to fight them .

The battle system is nice , even it uses the turn-based system . This game will be better if we make our own character and choose our own Digimon .

Gameplay : 8 / 10
Storyline : 8 / 10
Graphic : 10 / 10

The conclusion is , Digimon games are developing everytime . With the new Digimon animes around , Digimon games will release the new series . Personally , I recommend Digimon Digital Card Battle as a game because the game is really fun . But , I don't recommend Digimon World 4 and Digimon Data Squad , because it's worse than the PSX series .

This games are just the console games . I haven't make a review about the Digimon games from NDS . I'll do it next time . I hope this review will be useful .
